Q&A: About The Pinay Wanderer

I'm supposed to post this on my other blog but I realized I only made a very simple self introduction on my very first post here, so here's a little something about my boring self. This post might make you a "lightweight reader" though so be careful, you might damage your laptop as you do "qwerty nosedive".  I've warned you now so you can't hold me liable for the damage. :D To Gracie, you gave me a headache, I feel like tagging you back but since you're sending me a cutie pink bear, you're safe, hehe! Here we go:

Gracie's 11 difficult questions and my 11 boring answers:

1. Describe your feelings right now.
=> Excited and anxious. Excited because I'm about to receive a cutie pink bear from Gracie; anxious because I don't know how to answer Gracie's questions. :P

2. Kung ikaw ay isang pagkain, anong putahe ka?
=> o di ba, ang hirap! hmmm, seafood dishes na may konting tamis/alat/anghang ang timpla, wag nyo i-relate sa personality ko, basta mga ganong putahe ang gusto ko. :D

3. Is there anything you own that you can't live without and why?
=> I'm used to having nothing so I believe I can still let go of anything I own, if I have to and if there's a need to. :)

4. How does uhog or nasal mucus taste like?
=> a bit salty?! I can't describe exactly, I google-d it but I can't find the right term. (Gracie ano ba 'tong question mo, nakakabaliw! hahaha....)

5. Would you rather be attacked by a huge bear or a swarm of bees?
=> A huge bear, for death is immediate, I don't want to suffer long.

6. What's the best compliment you've ever received?
=> from a former office mate: "sana katulad mo ang anak ko", don't ask me what she meant by that, I also don't know. ;)

7. Kung isa ka sa 5 senses ng ating katawan, ano ka at bakit?
=> sense of touch, feel ko eh kaya alang basagan ng trip, hehehe!

8. What have you done the day before yesterday?
=> spent 4+ hours on the road (travel time to office and back home), 10 hours in the office, 1+ hour window shopping, 3+ hours reading/blog hopping/commenting/etc., slept for 5 hours. Boring, right?! :D

9. Proud ka ba sa bansa mo? Paano?

=> Oo naman, I'm proud to be Pinoy and I'm proud of the Philippines! Sa mga simpleng paraan, sa mga maliliit na bagay na makakaya ko at sa pag-feature ng mga magagandang lugar natin dito sa lungga ko sa blogosperyo, sana maipakita ko na masarap at masayang mamuhay dito sa Pilipinas, kahit sabihin pa nilang totoo naman ang mga sinabi ni Scieszka, mas marami pa ding reasons para mahalin at ipagmalaki natin ang bansang ating sinilangan. :)

10. What advise can you give to the government future leaders?
=> Be honest, be responsible!

11. Where do you think you'll be in five years?

=> abroad!!! (wishful thinking, hehe!)
 

11 Random Things About Me

=> I love to have sweet and salty foods at the same time (like cloud 9 & tortillos, nutella & peanut butter). I am weird, I know... ;)

=> It's my dream to become a teacher/professor someday, and I intend to pursue it before my retirement age. :D

=> I love to cook and experiment on recipes; and of course, I love to eat so my experiments won't go to waste...hehe.

=> When I was younger, I ignored a friend for a long time because she went out with somebody else without telling me first. Yes, I used to be possessive of people I consider my best friend or people I care about. Nowadays, I don't care...hahaha, just kidding. :)

=> I've been working for 26 years and I started working at such a young age (check Unplog's blog for a comment where I mentioned the age I started working. Unplog: don't mention the post title in case you're going to comment here), if you got nothing to do and if you're patient/interested enough to know my age, go check Unplog's post, do the math and compute my age...hehe!

=> I'm a pocketbook addict, got a load of pocketbooks at home, mostly military-adventures-police-detective-spy stories and courtroom drama. But my favorites are those of Michael Crichton, Robert Ludlum & Stephen Coonts. :)

=> I can operate 1-, 3-, and 5-threads sewing machines.

=> I have motion sickness so when traveling long distance (especially by bus) I always sit on the first 3 rows, otherwise I'll wait for the next bus to board.

=> I'm afraid of ghosts and anything paranormal that's why I find it hard to travel alone, I'm afraid of being alone in a hotel room (though I'm all alone at home). ;)

=> If Gracie is the youngest but the biggest, I am the eldest and the biggest. ;)

=> I grew up near the beach (as in near, like less than 100 meters from the shore) but I don't know how to swim. :(
